I miss Nuzzel… RSS is still where I go to read the deeper thinkers. Pro tip: Substack newsletters have RSS feeds.

yeah. i particularly miss google reader. one of the reasons I love (and pay for) feedbin is they provide you an email address to use for newsletters. someone should build a "reader" for casts: no "feeds", treat profiles as blogs, filter out replies or show threads.

I don’t miss Google Reader itself, the options we have now are objectively so much better. The benefit of Google Reader being in the space is that it incentivized more people to use RSS. I use Reeder on iOS, NetNewsWire on macOS, Feedly for sync, and kill-the-newsletter.com
