yes exactly the biggest accounts on here continue to be primarily Base/FC aligned

I'm not accusing anyone of algo adjustments or anything like that, it's just the reality of a social network where the most influential people want to hear a certain message

until the biggest accounts on here dgaf about defending Farcaster or Base, that bias will continue

not sure if that’s technically true. you don’t necessarily get limited reach, you just don’t get amplified reach because some of the largest accounts here are either Base or FC employees and they aren’t going to recast or quote cast criticism. no one’s reach is algorithmically limited or shadowbanned.

they post good content in general + have honest, quality critiques of Farcaster and Base

idk, looking at the leaderboard i see some folks who are quite critical of base eg zinger and keccers

i think it's perfectly possible to do great on here while being critical of fc/base or even not talking about crypto at all
