What’s bizarre is like for ex some subset of those ppl will say “women vote more often for dems so we should strip them of their right to vote to elect more R or libertarians” — that’s ridiculous but is an opinion gaining ground. All the examples you gave are bad because they don’t reflect the extremes *enough*. You didn’t engage with my one perhaps most exemplary example which is stripping women of the right to vote. That is more of what I am talking about here with extremes and vocal *minorities* taking up all the air
