I would agree in the sense it is wrong to simply blame the phones. Our mass retardation is a complex issue that has occurred slowly over decades. TikTok alone did not make people stupid. In some way I am glad. If you can’t sit through an assembly, we shouldn’t pretend you are capable of email job

I work in a middle school. It’s oversimplification to be sure. But it’s also a large part of the problem. We don’t allow phones in our schools for this very reason. The kids need to be taught how to pay attention. You can’t just take the phones away and it suddenly fixes everything.
