nobody is asking for a default chronological feed, the point is providing it as a default option because it helps foster quality conversations

imo yes because the entertainment of video social doesn't come from people interacting with each other, it comes from creators broadcasting static content

it's like a conference, people are hopping between rooms watching different single users "present" on stage

but text social is like the conference after-party, it thrives on people moving in and out of interesting conversations, that's the content engine

when you remove the live feed that lets people discover those conversations, your whole text social network suffers (as @yesyes's analysis proved)

Does algo only make sense for video social? But not text?

It's also the only major twitter clone to hide all my casts. I can't imagine any other new user would want to stick around here with all casts dumped behind "more replies".

Warpcast had added a reverse chron following feed option ✅ 

however, this following feed does not include reply bumping for the people you follow 🚫 

this is a critical feature that allows conversations to flourish on the network (see https://paragraph.xyz/@yesyes/checking-the-comment-velocity-of-real-users)
