Tulip Mania always interests me. I can't help but wonder though, if not both the Tulip Bubble (which did happen) and the Calvinistic overreaction were not simply two sides of the same coin. You see it now, too. There's a need and a moment for radical change. Some embrace it, some hate it and some take advantage.
