consider the step changes humanity has previously had: - barter system: items of explicit value exchanged (direct relationship) - coinage: physical tokens holding value through precious metal (first-order derivative) - notes: notes with corresponding collateral assets, becomes a measurement of the value of a nation (second-order derivative) - fiat: notes with no corresponding collateral, becomes a measurement of the value production of a nation (third-order derivative) - crypto: tokens with no corresponding collateral, becomes a measurement of the shared value change across nations (fourth-order derivative) stretch your mind. What does a fifth-order derivative look like?

some questions to help the stretch: - what does the measurement of the shared value change across nations mean? - what does it mean when those value changes reach equilibrium? - what is the derivative of humanity? - what serves as disintermediation of that derivative? - what if we should start framing the previous "what" as a "who"?
