Does anyone else get frustrated by how much stuff they have? I’m out of space but also have no desire to increase it either. There’s a build up of things that have survived multiple deep cleanings. Difficult to throw away; too much work to sell. It accumulates. I want to start over but feels wasteful.

Moving helps. I still have 90% of my old nyc stuff in storage. I really just want to throw most of it out The freedom of no stuff makes me care less about the waste; I know it’s wasteful 😔

hmmm, yeah..I’m hesitant to grab a storage unit. Feels like prolonging the inevitable. Someone else said you gotta be in a real unsympathetic mood then purge. Maybe that’s the key.

The hardest part is finding a new home for stuff that is not really garbage, but nobody seems to want it for free or otherwise.

I've "fake moved" a couple times since I've been in my apt forever. Just pack everything in boxes and take out what I need. Haven't got to the part of getting rid of the boxes full of stuff I don't use tho I also still hold on to a box of "sentimental clothes" I'll never wear again but am attached to the memories 🙈
