How to ensure health is not for everyone but only for people that think the right way about completely unrelated issues

I want pursuit of health to be a bridge activity again. Exercise and taking good care of yourself used to be something that united, not divided. This is sad.

They’re not the only ones ensuring this divide, there’s the body positivity movement of the left as well

Where on the left have body positivity activists stood up with actual politicians or political influencers? Please point me to that, I need to see this

I’m saying they’re making the conversation difficult from the left angle

That isn't the same thing? Ultimately the topics advanced by Calley and even RFK are worthy topics, soured by their association with right wing politics. Body positivity was a rebound against the heroin chic aesthetic of the early 00s that quickly turned into a perversion against science. The most extreme body positivity positions are not worth discussing AT ALL

The problem I’m speaking to is that even if you resolved this issue with rfk and rightwingism, the path to a non-partisan healther movement isn’t just simply clear from there

I am still a little confused. When you look at actual bills advancing health and wellness, most of them are bipartisan, like PHIT, which proposed expanding what HSA funds could be used for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PHIT_Act. The bill that broke up the hearing aid monopoly was also bipartisan. I can pull up several more examples involving food quality and the FDA. As it stands today legislation addressing health issues is often bipartisan The one exception I can think of is the Food and Farm Act, which would redirect subsides from commodity farms to other activities. Ironic given this is a drum the Means family beats often. https://blumenauer.house.gov/the-food-and-farm-act When it comes to public perception, it's unfortunate that some of our biggest voices are turning these issues into partisan ones. I think health companies and health influencers help people understand that this is for everyone it would go a long way
