Potassium iodide pills are a no brainer to keep around as countries look to add to their nuclear arsenals in the wake of Trump <$20 USD, great gift, can be useful even with no other knowledge than duck and cover https://www.cdc.gov/radiation-emergencies/infographic/potassium-iodide.html

Radioactivity levels drop 99% after 2 days of a bomb drop and 1 pill is 24hr of protection. Do the math Depending on how many adults in your household and how worried you are about things like multiple bombs. As a 1 person household who prefers a light profile 1 is plenty for me!

Two people but I’d want to be able to help friends, family, neighbours if possible. Assuming one was my expectation, I guess one to two packs would be plenty.
