I know the carnivore diet folks here like anecdotes, so here's a new one: Man starts carnivore diet of cheese, butter, and meat, cholesterol levels rise to over 1000 mg/dl (1 g/dl!), develops xanthelasma (deposits of cholesterol underneath the skin).

The cholesterol deposits in the corneas. Historically we see it in familial hyper cholesterol disorders but with those levels, likely will see it in these guys
