OK!! So I have had a WHOOP now for about ~3mo? π“π‘πž 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 - Really nice comprehensive tracking β€” tries to get a full picture of your life. There's a journal feature that allows you to see how all kinds of choices you make over time affect your well-being, which I really like. Things like "did I eat before bed", "did I sleep in the same bed", "did I hit my protein goal" etc. - Fun community features. If you have friends with WHOOP bands it's really motivating to try and keep up with them. Reminds me of my first wearable, the Fitbit, in that way. - great battery life and novel way to charge. you can charge a WHOOP without taking it off - app in general is awesome and explains EVERYTHING it's showing your really nicely. Plays nicely with Apple Health too! - great autodetection of activities. It KNEW without me telling it i was kayaking!

π“π‘πž 𝐦𝐞𝐑 - it takes a lot of work to correctly input strength sessions which is my primary form of training. I think if you have sport specific needs (ie are a lifter, a runner) other wearables might be better (garmin etc). - i actually like having a screen. YMMV but... to be able to check the time, HR zones, etc... that's nice to me - they don't update the core WHOOP product that often. Longtime users feel stiffed, especially given how expensive it is. - very reliant on proprietary metrics, and sometimes I don't love those. I always get good sleep scores which feels sus sometimes. Sometimes I want to give more than it wants me to give....sometimes less.... I feel like I always have to remind myself they are suggestions, not a diagnostic
