I need an LA native to weigh in Is there a “strip in LA” where someone would go drinking There’s this song I like that references this and I want to know if it’s real or if it’s like “south Detroit” in Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” (ie I guess it exists but it’s not something people say)

You’re probably thinking of sunset strip? More of a destination for music. The Whiskey, the troubadour etc. I never hear people refer to it as the strip
