It’s sort of ironic, as spreading the OCP narrative only primes a consumer to be more pissed off and paranoid when Coinbase themselves rightfully takes similar actions The customer support point about Coinbase is very rightful I believe. Their support is a disgrace when compared to the financial institutions they want to be considered a peer with

I am afraid of Coinbase. I have for me what is a lot of money in there and it feels trapped. If I try and move it, they will punish me. If I encounter problems, I will get no help.

if you’re *convinced* they will punish you for moving it, might as well move it now and get the headache over with bc you’ll have to do it sooner or later else, cross those bridges when you come to them yes, it might be a headache to move. or it might not. that’s only becomes real when you go to move it

I know 😠I have horrible anxiety and fear over what will happen when I try and it prevents me from ripping the band aid off. I see what happens to other people ðŸ˜

fwiw i don’t disagree with your concerns or about their poor support🥲 i’ve personally had ~good experiences and others i know have too. but i def realize the risk is real and 1) would never leave $ i’d need immediate access to and 2) prepare for withdrawal *potentially* being a slow moving pain in the ass
