Was super surprised the first time I seen US cities lined up with EU ones - NYC is the same latitude as Madrid which seems crazy. And London is above any major city in Canada

I was surprised by the Midwest as well. These are not sunny places!!

lived in the pnw for a while - the yellow-green spot on the olympic peninsula is a literal rain forest and til that area sees more sun than most of europe 👀
