Intellectual pursuits are not necessarily the same as education and when I look at this quote from him I actually agree and think applies regardless of gender. 

BUT you are 💯 right that intelligence is not as highly valued in women. Especially by men. This has been my experience my whole life. In my 20s I made playing dumb into an art form. 

What I’ve found is that men who are secure in their own intellect are able to appreciate a smart women. Those who are insecure usually do not.
