I’ve had a strong emotional reaction to this claim of being able to teach any 2y/o to read at a 2nd grade level. I support pursuing incredible things but don’t understand how you can believe in the heritability of iq and this, too. 

How much of these results are selection effects?

Can kids do more than we currently believe? YES
Is chapter books at 2 an outlier outcome? YES
