Btw- our previous convo about Koch etc helped me to conceive of this frame. The qualities I was calling "incidental" to Gray are the ones that are mostly living on the current X-Y (ie, Red-Blue) axis of political discourse.

A new Z-axis should be the essence of Gray: tech-forward, Internet Values, right-to-improve.

I learned a lot from that too 😂 People have been discussing grey/gray values for 7, 8 years now. It has not come any closer to being a viable political project. There is/was extreme reticence towards the dirty work of politics, you yourself acted like I insulted you when I suggested you were a (necessary) leader!

I do think this is your project and that is good. You should take ownership and LEAD vs punting back to some undefined group to “build with”. People want alternatives  NOW and the Red/Blue so extreme that issue of “values” may be moot. This decentralized group project vibe is not effective for actual progress

I remember you presenting gray as being "my project" while saying I also had no clarity on the core values. Your second point is correct, but not the first. Clarity will come from building together.
