This is a bad city filled with bad people and I am becoming a bad person. I screamed at the dog owner for not being able to control his (of course) golden doodle as he could barely contain the thing from trying to rip me to shreds, digging his heels into the trail to try and get any leverage on the dog

I don’t think you are becoming a bad person by responding appropriately to a dangerous situation. I have my own universal threat model. I love dogs but seeing a severely untrained dog immediately makes me distrust the owner from the get go because it is ultimately the responsibility of the owner to put in the time to train their dogs 🤷🏻♀️
