I did a quick and dirty categorization of occupations of the Top 50 Most Influential! Missing some nuance here (ie several folks fit across categories) but for what it is, it's fine. The biggest categories Crypto founder (40%) Merkle (founders + employees, 16%) VCs (10%) The one brand account to make the Top 50 most influential was Base. I myself come in at #58!

I'm taking a slightly different approach to this problem that prioritizes quality of engagement over followers/being early. Part of a broader "builder intel" product I'm working on, where people can access context on how a builder has contributed value across ecosystems. It's a work in progress, but I think it pushes things in the right direction. For instance, you are #21 on the FCS leaderboard but 58 on the eigenvector-score driven leaderboard. Fwiw I dislike the concept of leaderboards, but have found that they're a good way to solicit feedback - your's would be really appreciated! https://warpcast.com/ruminations/0x2bd183bb

This is really cool! It feels more right to me in some ways. Some of the accounts on the other list aren’t really that active, so it’s hard to “feel” their influence

Thanks! Yeah, I agree. I'm currently thinking about how to introduce explainability. So I can select a person and see which relationships drive their influence.
