You basically slide to add together like numbers so 2+2 to get 4 and then 4+4 to 8 and up trying to get to 2048. Tiles can only move in one direction and the whole board moves at once. A new number will populate from direction you slide

I had a huge phase where I was addicted to this game be careful 😝 😂
