I read something related to this and supreme court that leads me to think columbia v heller and roe v wade were both wrong on this account federal judges overriding local legislative action. what are your thoughts on that?

I would agree with that too. I never understood the furor around essentially returning abortion back to a states' rights issue. 

Columbia v. Heller a little different to me as the state in this case was violating the Constitution which to me is numba 1
