a tip for the bull market: when I see Ethereum people fading Solana because "its not decentralized" it reminds me of 2016/17 me who faded Ethereum because it was so centralized they rolled the entire chain back for a hack easy to overestimate the commitment to crypto fundamentals of new retail participants

bold of ethereum community to say solana's not decentralized when they're encouraging everyone to move to centralized L2s and Lido, Coinbase and Binance make up over 50% of controlled validators for eth

I'm not afraid to lob some spicy volleys in the decentralization wars, I literally quit CB in objection to base.

I’ll give you 1m degen if you can actually explain how an L2 (that commits to ethereum mainnet) is centralized in any way. Protip: you can’t.

Easy. Centralized sequencer. Regardless of what you can push at the contract level on L1 to get things moving on L2, getting your coins off is a very different story for anything OP

OP is the worst of L2s agreed. But it’s still not centralized. It’s just not a good use case and vulnerable to manipulation. I appreciate this reply ^^ good point 1000 $DEGEN

I have great appreciation for the L2s that did the hard work and actually decentralized. I have no appreciation for L2s that inherit eth security from posting commits and calling themselves decentralized with central sequencers
