People who are interested in living in a long-term network state node (so, permanent location, not popup), what are some properties that you would like such a node to have?

You cannot defend a nation without an army.

thats the whole point of the comment as I see. I spent some time on thinking through the tactics on how to achieve this feature before I found out about the network state. what I came up with is development of kinda soft defense tech, but the ambition must remain in stealth mode haha if you want it to get somewhere

unironically, the answer is many different solutions. starting from legal precedence at least shows good faith the goal should be to lead with love so that many network states rise. it is the only way forward

legal precedence is the preroragative of the forces you would defend from though. you have your own system of law and law enforcement in such case

no one ever gets to that point without clashing with other powers iwo the world would be better if this only happened on smaller scales over things like women or competition, not limited resources

This is all wonderful in theory and I agree this is my personal want as well Doesn’t stop a country with cruise missiles from taking all your shit overnight. This is the same argument against personal gun ownership, we are post war children and we haven’t had our shit taken from us yet in this era. If you can protect your country and your personal belongings from the violence that controls the world, then you actually don’t own your country or any of your belongings, you’re just the custodian until someone with a a bomb or gun comes along.

but if the most powerful countries did just use utmost force to gain everything instead of influence, deals etc then the world would be far more dark if one network state started becoming too powerful I'd assume insider attacks before cruise missiles this is why multiple at once need to be growing. then it's impossible to ignore and maybe decentralised enough that it's impenetrable common goal is what's missing. ppl need to want to work together
