The idea that if you can moderate, you must moderate illegal stuff is pretty sound! If you build tech that gives control to people, make sure you _actually_ relinquish that control, otherwise, that's just hypocrisy.

Ya i mean as unpopular as this opinion is it’s accurate. Also, begs the question why hasn’t he? Deep state actors often look like the heroes to the public.

I see a million reason why he hasn't that are not conspiracies... :) The first one being that it e2e encryption in group messages is hard!

I mean it was a “conspiracy” that Twitter had an NSA back door and that turned out to be 100% true. Also was a “conspiracy” that Joe Nachio went to federal prison for refusing to backdoor for the NSA. Also was true. Food for thought :)
