a tip for the bull market: when I see Ethereum people fading Solana because "its not decentralized" it reminds me of 2016/17 me who faded Ethereum because it was so centralized they rolled the entire chain back for a hack easy to overestimate the commitment to crypto fundamentals of new retail participants

Her argument will be that larger parties controlling majority of validators is “centralized”. It’s not. It’s a by product of bootstrapping a network and does not allow for denial of service. Solana is a database that can be shutdown at anytime. True ethereum L2 commit to mainnet and are extensions of eth.

Before you consider anything about my remarks to be pro Solana, they’re not. I’m no fan of them either. I literally started my own network that doesn’t need an L2 or centralized aspects to scale.
