I enjoy Tenerife! Chill vacation spot and it has a huge volcano in the middle which you can hike which is cool. I'd avoid gran Canaria, too touristy. But generally the canary islands are the go-to place for European vacationers in the winter months, expect lots of tourist and drunk, sun-burnt, soccer-watching brits

I have exactly the opposite opinion 😀 avoid Tenerife and the south of Gran Canaria. Tenerife has the biggest water park of the islands. There are direct flights from USA to Tenerife, that might be the only positive thing Spotted Teide this morning from Gran Canaria
