you get paid for knowing how to get a result. the amount of time it takes you & the tools you use to get it are irrelevant.

And this is why our educational system is shit. We are still teaching how to turn screws and not how to figure out what screw to turn. 

When I left the Netherlands in 2018, I was already annoyed at the amount of content that is being taught instead of thinking. 

Kids nowadays don't know anymore how to use a dictionary, can google any sh$t they want, but struggle with evaluating their relevance.

certainly feels like there is a whole segment of kids in school right now who are being prepared for a world that will no longer exist by the time they’re out trying to find jobs. 

endless opportunities for the ones can figure out which screw to turn though.
