Tween likes late night chats to download her woes and go to sleep feeling loved and heard. I go to bed later than I’d like with a head full of woes and then struggle to get to sleep. What do others do to process? Yoga is good for me if downloads are early enough in the day but harder when late. Other ideas?

Does your tween expect you to solve their woes? Drink relaxing tea while chatting with them. When I really can’t sleep I either read a bit more, or try meditation (focus on body parts from toes to head. No idea how it’s called) 200 $degen

Thank you. No, she doesn’t want me to solve her woes (mostly) just wants empathy normally. Body scan meditation! Yes! I do that sometimes but a good one to remember. I hadn’t thought to read, that might change my ideas a bit too. Thank you.
