How else was I going to share it with you? :D

I ran across the familiar bridge but the usual smack smack of my sneakers was replaced by a soft thud as the snow supported my weight. These were the streets I walked on everyday but now they were painted shiny white and the sky was full of glimmering crystals and there was a peace, a calm, and I remembered my childhood and nature and the joy of a snowday and my mom preparing a warm glass of hot chocalate for my return.

my mom had just passed, no hot chocolate was waiting for me. I was running as a coping mechanism and smiling as a way to get back at life.
