A place to talk about podcasts on Farcaster.

I've never admitted this publicly but I've never listened to a podcast. I've heard snippets, saw clips, but never heard one from beginning to end. 

I've always been suspicious of them and their effect on discourse. 

Anyone else feels the same?

as someone with a love-hate relationship with podcasts, i find this WILD 

but also i suspect the # of people who actually listen to a full pod, start to end, has gone down as # of pods has gone up

Seems hard to even categorically define the medium though right? Like I listen to plenty of BBC radio shows as podcasts, and plenty of highly produced audio documentary type shows. Only on occasion will I listen to the classic “people just recording themselves hamming it up” type shows, like when I’m anxious or hungover or just needing to turn my brain off.
