Something I've never seen stated so bluntly before in a political party platform, much less one that's part of a Nordic country: We like economic inequality. The center-right party that just won Greenland's election says this in its platform: "[W]e do not consider economic inequality to be a problem. On the contrary, in every society there will be a certain degree of economic inequality, since not all people can earn the same for natural reasons. We do not see this economic inequality as a problem, since it is to some extent based on voluntary and personal choices with regard to choice of education, willingness to work long hours and personal level of ambition. "Economic inequality will also cause individuals to constantly do their best, which will help increase the overall prosperity of society."

wildly refreshing to see this level of honesty from a political party.
