It’s hard to avoid Bluesky because of how many experts have gathered there but I fear it’s replicating the insular scold culture that I think fueled the rise of the populist right the user base so abhors in the first place

Just curious, who are some of the experts that you can only find on Bluesky? From my perspective, I’ve been surprised how many stayed on Twitter or continued cross posting on Twitter, even after declaring they were done and going all in on Bluesky.

A lot of journalists and scientists I know who reduced their X usage are big on Bluesky now.
