Could be but Macron has an obvious self-interest as he’s promoting French-made stuff as an alternative.

Turkey as an alternative is not that much better tbf. Can they use Airbus?

It would be interesting to know if you can trust this from an EU perspective. Can they be sure that it doesn't have any backdoors?
