that's awesome but... they don't use it 🤦 France is now producing more electricity than it consumes: https://www.francetvinfo.fr/environnement/energie/la-france-produit-plus-d-electricite-qu-elle-n-en-consomme-obligeant-les-producteurs-a-payer-pour-exporter-leur-surplus_7194483.html And it's putting strong financial pressure on producers... that's just unbelievable! This should never happen, if you have too much electricity, build datacenters... or if you really cannot think of something else to do: just mine Bitcoin!

In theory "yes" but, given the article, it doesn't seem sufficient. And the worst is that "Flamanville", the brand new - long overdue - nuclear plant is not yet fully operational. That said, you're also asking the wrong person, I am definitely not an expert on the french energy market :)
