The tipping feature is a really nice aspect to Farcaster. I was skeptical of it at first, but creating a culture of backpatting with stakes greater than smashing a like button breeds much more thoughtful interactions. I wonder if, at scale, it could become a meaningful source of revenue for journalism to support reporters or future publications on this platform.

Gamification beyond the leaderboard would be interesting to see. Pinky Doll helped open my eyes to what how crazy gamified tipping can be.

We definitely think so and hope to play a part in that In the meantime, normalizing tipping good casts, creators, and projects is a great way to spread a positive sum culture that reinforces crypto as something that can be earned (vs an object of pure speculation)

when numbers go up, more users and more followers could be a good source of revenue, like twitch subs and stuff like that even with some tokenomics applied, tip me and get some nft or spetial offer or whatever to incentivize it tipping is here to stay imo
