Watching Donald Glover version of Mr and Mrs Smith. It’s a subtle metamodern sendup of the conventional assasins world set up by the Pitt/Jolie movie. I was wondering why a subversive guy like him seemed to be doing a conventional thing but he’s not.

Not yet sure. It’s a bit intense for me. I generally don’t enjoy metamodern even if I appreciate when it is well done.
