I drove up north to go swim in a lake for a day, meditate first thing in the am, go for a 45min walk, see friends and hit the gymmmm

I feel you. I burnt out as a lawyer/patent agent, so I quit to get into creativity more. It’s a surprisingly difficult path to overcome burnout, but there are a few steps to take. I actually wrote a guide on burnout recovery: Wanderloots.com/burnout and made a YouTube video on it https://youtu.be/D2kveBdiXjo

I took some time off and did a little traveling and camping. Allowed me to reflect and refocus as well as re-institute things I've let slip (ie. no technology within an hour of going to bed, meditation in the morning, reading from an actual book each day).

Feel better friend. Take a break from the work if you can and spend time with your family and loved ones. When you’ve felt burnt out in the past, what did you do to deal with it?

Sorry to hear that, but it's part of the cycle I suppose. A change in environment and a bit time off from your typical place can do wonders. Maybe go and visit a friend you have not seen for a while. :)

realizing it's okay to do less and prioritize sleep, play, doing nothing has helped me a lot this year. culture these past decades prizes going day in and day out; i don't feel we were made for such things. glad you're making the feeling known, you aren't alone. it's good to take breaks, looooong breaks from social media especially. i hope you're able to find some time for it.

I go to the gym or running. But maybe going on holidays o just a short trip could be a good idea to disconnect ☺️
