+1 As I recall, one of the things that led to writers adopting Medium was that feature. Canonical could be set so you still kinda felt like you โ€œownedโ€ the audience while having them manage the blog infra. Then they did publications. Then custom domains. Then they fucked it up with Hacker Noon.
