Who is writing on multiple platforms and how do you decide what to post on each? Is anyone duplicating content or do you have different content for different platforms? I've been writing a substack for the past year. Farcaster Fall was my catalyst for finally publishing a single essay to Paragraph. So now what? πŸ€”

Really appreciate all the replies to my question. But I’m left with even more questions than answers now 🀣🀣 I think my direction in the short term will be: -Don’t overthink it -worry less about the platform than the act of writing -Have fun, experiment -It’s ok to cross post and duplicate content

Uhm, can we indulge in this topic? I publish my weird stuff on Mirror, but minting isn't common, even when free. Clients tend to use Substack and mailchimp for newsletters. This is also cool for considering what else we could do https://theopenmachine.net/

I am watching this closely but unfortunately don’t have a good answer here. I’ve seen all options: choosing a single platform, using diff platforms for diff audiences, or just x-posting everything. If we can build anything to make this easier please lmk :)

This is something I’ve been debating for a long time. I would like to repurpose my content as much as possible, but it isn’t as simple as copy-pasting as each platform is different in terms of interests, readers, tone. continues...

If it's good (however you judge that), get it everywhere. Don't think about platform specific content. In fact, don't call it content. Call it writing.

Our approach is to utilize the platforms that offer growth via their network to redirect traffic to WC/website where there is only a link to Paragraph. We use medium for individual posts because seems to surface individuals. We use substack for thought pieces. aggregation of both on happens on Paragraph
