what’s the most recent show that you watched that you were willing to watch ads or commercials? usually if there are ads sprinkled into an episode, i nope out real quick. but i enjoy reacher enough to suffer multiple ads invasively thrown in the episode.

don’t care how good the show is if it’s got ads or is clearly cut for ads but on a premium subscription i can’t do it

fair. i feel like most shows aren’t cut for ads and when they’re inserted by streaming platforms is just like a random jump. it’s really jarring. i prefer just downloading mid tv to watch on a laptop or tablet to bypass ads

we’re speaking the same language for sure, the one that ruined me was yellowstone. fantastic show, but those cut scenes were so aggressive, which was sad because i did like it mostly an hbo and apple tv + enjoyoor and have never had to worry

i hate when ads ruin a show. im pretty much anti-amazon shows for that reason. i haven’t even finished the boys because of that. i feel like hbo/apple are producing superior tv so there’s really non need to drop ads in to boost revenue and annoy customers. people want to subscribe because you make good television. novel idea.

big same, same thing with peacock and paramount, even canceled netflix which is different than those two but it’s just got so much brain rot and slop. they really are, it’s why i’m a diehard loyalist to them, would rather watch a good show 3-5 times vs 3-5 shows that gave me nothing it’s kinda sad that original stories is a novel idea imo
