what’s the most recent show that you watched that you were willing to watch ads or commercials?

usually if there are ads sprinkled into an episode, i nope out real quick. but i enjoy reacher enough to suffer multiple ads invasively thrown in the episode.

fair. i feel like most shows aren’t cut for ads and when they’re inserted by streaming platforms is just like a random jump. it’s really jarring. 

i prefer just downloading mid tv to watch on a laptop or tablet to bypass ads

don’t care how good the show is

if it’s got ads or is clearly cut for ads but on a premium subscription i can’t do it

a few shows i watched religiously every week with ads: 

- breaking bad 
- halt and catch fire 
- dexter 

i do miss that anticipation of waiting each week for great tv. then having commercials to like take a breath, digest what just happened, and also run to the bathroom

Grew up with ads so I kind of don't mind but I'd much rather not. I also enjoy Reacher.

ive been back and forth on this because reviews are solid but not sure i need another dystopian/post-apocalyptic political thriller. 

what makes this one better than others?

Paradise on Hulu is pretty good. Lots of mystery and cliffhangers to keep you going

really loving s3. 

the breaks for sports is sometimes necessary unless we’re talking the nba all star game. 

i think my favorite pacing for any sport is the nhl. theres less commercials during play and then they fit a good amount in during intermissions. 

nba/football/baseball can get a bit bogged down in ads when the game slows

s3 is back with a bang, almost lost me is s2

and sports/live events is probably the only thing I will take ads on, I like the breaks 

don't think I can ever get onboard with interruptions to anything story based

forgot to say that your dedication to teacher is commendable 👏
