read a review that describe arcane act ii as inflicting emotional damage and trauma. it’s so, so, so true. it’s been two weeks since i watched it and im still a wreck. and the use of animation styles to add emotion and feel to it. masterpiece.

the music, animation, the vfx, the art style, costumes, the world building and the way Hextech vfx looks 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼. I mean, I haven’t felt this mesmerised from watching anything since maybe Westworld s1 ✨

its entirely on a different level than most shows. i have small nits with how parts of the ending felt rushed but otherwise a perfect season. they really refined their use of music and different visual styles in s2 from s1. it blows my mind how they took s1, amazing in its own right, and somehow managed to make it 100x better. only other show that’s done that for me is probably fleabag. s1 was great, a bit crude and in your face. than s2 have this level of emotional maturity that was flooring

+1000 I get the feeling rushed part but maybe I’m not that good of a critic because I didn’t mind it as much. Even with the speed of the episodes and storytelling nothing felt out of place or character.

I don’t think the show was rushed tbh, there was just a lot of things to process. It was just really overwhelming beauty, I had to pace myself while watching

i may have just wanted more time to explore dynamics between characters like mel/ambessa/black rose, jinx/echo in the present timeline, and reveck. im really glad they released in 3 acts over 3 weekends vs a full binge. im not sure how i could watch this all in want go. granted, i do want to watch s1 and s2 in succession at some point.
