might be out of scope for this brainstorm, but would be interesting if a fee was shared with the referrer. ex: if you share a piece i write on paragraph, a portion of the fee is shared with you. reason: rewarding curators. downside is bots just spamming and sharing content

Not out of scope at all! I think a referral fee makes perfect sense and I'd like to do that at the very least (possibly in addition to the solutions in the screenshot). h/t @kyle for reaching out with something similar.

i think larger question that leads to is are there enough fees to go around to incentivize all stakeholders but i think a big part of nfts and the ownership they convey are the willingness of people to share. adding a reward for sharing could be powerful

Yeah, good point. Perhaps starting with just the referral/sharing fee would be a good beginning; then if/once tx volume picks up explore these other novel ways of incentivization.
