poppi acquisition by pepsi is huge. olipop also raised at a $2b valuation a month ago. prebiotic sodas are going strong this year.

the "trend" is definitely the better-for-you alternative to soda + non-alcoholic beverages. i think that started with flavored sparkling water like la croix, moved into cbd, and now is into the pre-biotic/neutropic drink life. 

the other interesting this is how these pre-bitotic companies have lost multiple lawsuits surrounding their health claims.

totally missed the olipop news. i'll be honest.. i think the pre-biotic thing was something that companies copied olipop on when realistically the thing that caught on was that it was a better-for-you alternative to soda and that the TAM of soda drinkers is huge
