Luka + LeBron are awesome together.

...but I dont see how this supporting cast can get the Lakers through the "2nd season" that is the NBA Playoffs.

c is a huge weakness, but vanderbilt + finney-smith + vincent makes for a great group for 3 and d guys. 

against jokic, i think lakers can still win by letting jokic eat but shutting down his passing/playmaking. 

wolves have size but not sure they have enough scoring to keep up with lebron/luka/reaves. if lakers get far enough, okc will be a problem with size + sga

No matter how it shakes out, fun to see the Lakers relevant again.

not a lakers maxi, but do think the lack of a center is overblown. warriors general formula vs jokic/nuggets was always to shut down jokic passing + force him to defend. 

grinds him down over a series and evens the odds when undersized. kerr took a similar approach in the olympics. 

it’s a formula the lakers can take against both jokic/gobert. luka/lebron pick n rolls will eat

i think vanderbilt is still a solid defense first guy and finney-smith can hold his weight. they’re long with high energy and lebron can still lock in when it counts. 

teams will pick apart luka/reaves when on the court together. but they can compensate for that by sending help and leaving the worst shooters open. 

lakers will live and die by letting the worst shooters beat them at the 3 line.

Everyone on the team is well below league average except Reaves
