a few highlights from our trip to hilo, starting off with food including - the smoke sashimi dish from moon & turtle; they use local ingredients with seasonal menus (sometimes it changes by the day) - the yuzu salmon poke bowl from poke market; a really fun combination of flavors, textures, and fresh fish

probably back next year! hilo’s become our go-to place since it has the right combination of food, ocean, and more food. currently looking into ways to hop between islands to maybe do like honolulu + hilo or maui + hilo
