a few highlights from our trip to hilo, starting off with food including 

- the smoke sashimi dish from moon & turtle; they use local ingredients with seasonal menus (sometimes it changes by the day) 
- the yuzu salmon poke bowl from poke market; a really fun combination of flavors, textures, and fresh fish

a destination highlight 

- the drive out to issac hale park & discovering natural hot springs to soak in while listening to the waves crash
