That’s what happens when you optimize around a narrow set of variables. Essentially same thing has happened with the internet, and we all love crypto because it’ll bring back a healthy rainforest

I’d say it’s a bit simplistic to view it this way. Many venture backed companies in crypto, like Solana, that build open and healthy ecosystems. Whereas Reddit/Twitter closed off APIs. Investors also expected a profit

it is what remains after removing the noise.. profit optimization.. would be different if the same people that suffer the conditions generated from the company existence would be able to choose what company or kind of business.. they want to invest on or they want to allow to exist..
