For those that care, I'll be tipping degen to people who reply to this cast with genuine feature requests and ideas for ReadCast. Bonus points if you use an existing book tracking app and can point to what you don't like.

Currently use Goodreads, mostly use it to keep track of what I’ve already read, don’t rate books. 

Make heavy use of the barcode scanner and would like recommendations for new books for existing series I’ve already read.

i.e., don’t care about try this because people who liked x also tend to like y, but you’ve read 2 of the last 3 whatever series, did you know there’s a 3, click here to buy

Another thought, depending on the UI for this, would be helpful to have a page or something to send out to folks not using the app where they can see what I’ve already read. e.g., my mom wants to buy me some books for Christmas and isn’t sure if I’ve read x or y, how do I convey that to her

Ya, opt-in to display a public bookshelf or something

A public library of sorts for a user. I like that. Would likely need to be opt-in since some people may want to keep that private.
